Grading By Item

Participants' grades can be entered from either the Manage Grades screen or the Enter Grades screen.


From the Manage Grades Screen

To enter grades for a single grade item:

1. Make sure you're in Manage Grades. Manage Grades is the default landing page in the Grades tool, but you can change this preference in Personal Display Options.


2. Click the down arrow to the right of the grade item you'd like to enter grades for and select Enter Grades.


3. Enter the desired score for each participant.

4. Click one of the save options at the bottom of the screen:

  • Save and Close: Returns you to the Enter Grades screen.
  • Save: Saves any changes and stays on the same screen.

From the Enter Grade Screen

To enter grades for a single grade item:

1. Make sure you're in Enter Grades. If you're in Manage Grades, the default landing page in the Grades tool, click the Enter Grades link located at the top of the screen. You can change your Grades landing page in Personal Display Options.


2. Click the down arrow to the right of the grade item you'd like to enter grades for and select Grade All.


3. Enter the desired score for each participant.

4. Click one of the save options at the bottom of the screen:

  • Save and Close: Returns you to the Enter Grades screen.
  • Save: Saves any changes and stays on the same screen.
