Groups Overview

The Groups tool allows you to organize course participants into groups. Once groups have been created, you can then restrict access to course materials and/or activities based on enrollment in a particular group.

 

To access the Groups tool, click the Course Admin link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Then under the Learner Management category, click Groups.

 


Please Note: If you plan to allow participants to self-register for groups, you will need to add the Groups tool to your course's navigation bar. You can find instructions for this on our Modifying an Existing Navigation Bar help page.
