D2L Scheduled Maintenance

From approximately 10:05 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, November 13th, some users may have experienced "server error" error messages when attmepting to use or log into D2L. This was a result of work being done on D2L's database. This occurred during D2L's regularly scheduled maintenance window as described on the main D2L login page.

UITS Unscheduled Service Interruption

On Saturday evening, October 17th, some D2L users may have begun receiving "not authorized to view this directory" error messages when attempting to log into D2L and other University services. This was caused by an enormous amount of traffic hitting the F5 Network Load Balancer. While this issue was resolved shortly after Midnight on Sunday morning, October 18th, some D2L users continued to receive error messages when attempting to log into D2L until 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20th.

UITS Unscheduled Service Interruption

From appoximately 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and then again from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14th, users may have encountered slow page loads and error messages when attempting to log into and use some University services that require WebAuth for authentication. UITS Unscheduled Service Interruption

From approximately 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 10th, D2L users may have experienced trouble accessing files in Content and other course activities. This was related to trouble UITS had with the University's load balancer. You can view the full UITS Alert here.

Adobe Connect Scheduled Maintenance

From 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11th, to 2:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12th, Adobe Connect was unavailable while it was upgraded from version 9.4 to 9.5. Adobe Connect is hosted by Adobe and the upgrade occurred on Adobe servers. You can view information about the new version on Adobe's What's New In Adobe Connect 9.5 page.

UITS Scheduled Maintenance

From 6:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 4th, UITS updated the software for F5 services, including WebAuth which is used to log into a number of University systems. During this maintenance, users may have experinced a few brief interruptions in service. You can view the full UITS Alert here.
